Liverpool2 significantly increases capacity and improves performance at the deep water container port, which can handle 95% of the world’s largest container ships. Its owners claim the development will reaffirm Liverpool as the UK’s leading transatlantic port, while also enabling direct market connections between the North-west and overseas markets.

Liverpool2 is predicted to create some 5000 new jobs in the vicinity, and its completion has been attracting many businesses to the area, representing a variety of industries.
